Enjoyed the trailer immensely, should sell you some books!! 🙂
Your daughter did a really good video that will appeal to parents looking for books for 8+ and any middle graders will want to read it too!
My grandchildren(younger ones) think that it’s cool 🙂
I hope that the trailer generates interest in The “Moon Coin” Realm.. it should 🙂
Thanks, Karen! I’m so glad your grandchildren love Lily and Jasper! 🙂
You are welcome 🙂
I hope you sell lots of books! 🙂
Hi, Richard, Just got the newsletter for June and it says that I need a password but I cannot remember it, silly me! 🙂 Hope that your Kindle countdown sold some books, I got mine thanks! 🙂 Now I have to get Dragondain on Kindle as well! Is there a third book in the works? All the best Karen. 🙂
Thanks!
Book three, The Murk, is written. It’s been taking me longer to edit this one because my bookstore has been demanding more of my time as we continue to combat the rise of the ebook. If you have a local bookstore, and you love it, please make sure you use it. 🙂 —Richard
Hi, Going to order 2 more copies of both books so that I have gifts for 12-14 year olds, because all my grandchildren love these 2 books and are eagerly awaiting book 3 The Murk!! 🙂 How many books are planned for the series? If I have asked you before sorry… You are in the process of editing book 3 The Murk do you have any release date?
I buy my books from Amazon or Coles/Chapters/Indigo in town or W. H. Smiths in the city; other times at Superstore or Walmart. I prefer books in book form as i like to curl up with one in my rocker, it is a big comfy one near the windows in the corner has lots of light… 🙂 it is hard to do that with an Ereader or computer. I hope that your bookstore business picks up for you. Have a good day and have fun editing 🙂 ever yours, Karen.
Thank you, Karen! You’re inspiring! 🙂
How many books . . . I haven’t publicly told anybody, but there are some clues here and there in the front matter of all the books. (hint: if you like the series, you’ll be happy; if you’re sick of it and want me to move onto something else, you’ll be sad.) 🙂
The Murk doesn’t have a firm release date. My bookstore, which still pays the bills, is my priority. (I’ve got to keep my girls in braces and glasses.)
I love paper books, too. And there will be print editions of the Moon Realm series as long as the machines to make them exist (and are affordable)
All the best, —Richard
Yes, things like glasses and braces plus other bills must come first.. Hopefully print never goes out of style but when a $40 book is out on ereaders for $17.99 it is probable that quite a few will prefer to buy the ebook! 😦
Yet I know people who bought ereaders loaded them with all their books and gave away all their hardcopies and now want the books back he he he! I did not threw mine out! 🙂 So let us hope that print copies of books and pamphlets stay that way.. the bad thing is that one author I know keeps putting out both so the paperback costs $15 but on release day the book was @ $2.99, therefore how can you compete with this if most authors are doing that?
Sorry did not read hints about how many books there are going to be 😦 will have to check so hope there at least 6 🙂 he he he!:)
Karen
The clue involves a pattern that will become more apparent with every new title. I can’t imagine anyone figuring it out this early.
But yes . . . there will be at least six. 🙂
